NY Italian

Category : Featured Post, Where To Eat

If you like NY/NJ italian pasta then Wilmington has a place for you.  New York Pasta opened Wednesday on N Front.  The Minestrone soup is all fresh vegetables, the Pasta Fagioli had a nice subtle meat flavor from Pancetta, the Penne Arabiata had a nice hint of anchoives and other good spices, and the Shrimp Diabolo was great with its chunky tomato sauce and huge shrimp.  Oh yeah, the chunky tomato sauce?  That’s Beckham’s style, smooth sauce is just tomato soup.  Expect more when he gets his pasta machine in.  If you prefer your pasta Al Dente then be sure to tell your waiter.
