Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Style

Category : Featured Post, Where To Eat

Wilmington loves to celebrate and New Year’s Eve is a night designed for celebrating.  Join us as we ring in the New Year and its new promise.

You can find a great many ideas for celebrating on Enjoy Wilmington’s What To Do Page.  Click here to find all of those events.  There’s music, theater, stuff for kids and much more.  Be sure to check out the nature walks on New Year’s Day.

The Wilmington Star News, our local gazette, has compiled some lists of places to enjoy your New Year’s eve.

JJ Knight, their “Budget Bites” reporter suggests Seawitch, and The Bridge Tender in her column.  Seawitch, at Carolina Beach, has music by local band Machine Gun along with a complimentary drink at midnight.  They also feature a dinner special for two.  The Bridge Tender is offering a special menu.  Across the water, Bluewater has its regular menu and the Manny Lloyd Band playing soul and funk tunes.  They too have a midnight champagne toast.  Circa 1922, in downtown Wilmington, is offering a special fixed menu for New Years.  Get all the details in JJ’s column here.

Mike Voorhees, a writer who may have enjoyed a New Year’s eve or two, writes up a few of the evenings festivities.  You can find his picks here.

And there’s always plenty more on Enjoy Wilmington’s website at www.EnjoyWilmington.com
